This app was so promising, and looked great but has been totally abandoned by its developers. Too bad...

This app really made the transition from paper notebooks and camera to an integrated iPhone approach smooth and easy. Thank you very much. I do have some feature requests for the fifth star, though: - Carriage Returns for Notes - Web Clipping (for things like homepages of important sites or Wikipedia articles) - URI awareness (for weblinks, mail addresses etc. - maybe even an integrated browser kit?) - Freehand sketching Thankfully, manual re-arranging of waypoints has already been addressed. Keep up the good work. -------- Update -------- Ive upgraded to an iPhone 4 recently and - going on the first major trip since then - I now realise that the app is in no way prepared for the retina display. All images have become extremely pixelated, making the app very hard to look at. Thus, one star deducted.

Cool app. I like it. Curious for the next updates :) But needs better battery life

Support is not so good. Have not been able to save pictures in the iPhone library either

This looked good... But I was halfway through a trip when i purchased this and I see no way of adding previous days in a trip. You can only add information for your current day. There really does need to be some sort of timeline admin! The app looks brilliant, and Ill continue to hope that improvements and new features will be added!

Very plesant interface and easy to use! I very much like the fact that when you take a photo it saves the full size in your camera roll (motionX just saves as a 640*480 image). The kmz and email export is also much much nicer in presentation than motionXs ... a definite bonus when sending your journal to friends and family. -------------------------------------- Features That Would Be Nice -------------------------------------- - brightness control on lock screen - iPod integration for music controls - Map views from multiple sources Overall ... very good built app and might stand a chance at replacing MotionX on my phone once iPod integration is at hand .... gotta have your music on hikes and hate having to interupt GPS tracking to change playlist. I very much look forward to sharing my journeys on Vancouver Island BC, across Canada and my up comming Belize exploration!

I have hesitated a while before purchasing this app and I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first. As soon as I explored this simple to use yet well designed app, I love it right away. The picture taken showing on the map and the ability to export directly to google earth or facebook worked flawlessly for me and I really like the presentation. A nice addition that would make this app absolutely perfect would be the ability to tag voice memos as well or attach them to the pictures as writing notes on the iPhone can get time consuming at times. Great app!

Looks great, and easy to use. Much thought has gone into this program. It shows. A previous flaw regarding auto correct has been quickly fixed. This is on my recommend list.

Realy useful. Has the best user interface

I really liked this app but got so frustrated with the GPS as it more often than not said it had a bad signal even when I had 5 bars showing. This meant it did not track the locations I visited very well. Please fix this.

I have to agree with the other reviewer. I also bought this half way through a trip to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. I had lots of pics from all over but couldnt re-start so to speak. It would have been great to go back in time and recreate the whole trip. Had I known this upfront I likely would have bought it before I left. I am hopeful they update to allow for a restart. If they do Id give it 5 stars!!

I dont know if it is just me, the app always tells me there is no signal, the the signal is actually full. the app was working few weeks ago

I have used this app for 3 trips now and have been able to share the photos and notes with family and friends. There is room for improvement, but at the moment its the best Ive found.

I know with every trip I have good intentions to collect photos and write notes on where I was and who I met. This app makes it foolproof

The only problem Ive had is with the tracking. A couple of times it has somehow turned on by accident while I was scrambling for my phone to take a picture and then wouldnt shut off. I ended up turning off my phone completely and missing the photo opportunity. Other than that one issue I love being able to write on each photo as I go and then just clicking one button to share all the photos and comments when I get home.

Now I document all my trips on-the-go without needing elaborate set-up. Looks pretty too. The easy upload to Facebook is cool.

May be add a transfer fonction from iphone to computer directly (with out email). Very excellent, I do long trip and all pictures are place on the map.
