Seldom used except to test the program. Easy to use.

Not "free"

There are definitely several apps that do this job better. First, the design is really clunky. One example: the export page has several icons, some of which are obvious (Facebook), some are not. When exporting, a page pops up with an explanation of whats going to happen, but its quickly replaced with a progress overlay, and when its done it disappears. You never actually get to read whats going to happen. The whole app is kind of like that. Worst, is that the app is "free", but after a few trips you have to buy the ability to make more. This is not mentioned on the app description, which is very dishonest IMHO.

Lost its originality

There may be some new things added in the upgrade. But the interface is so boring and lost all its originalities. Some basic functions are missing, for example, Why cant I choose a photo from the library? Why are the basic iPhone camera functions not available (zoom, grid, focus)? Very disappointed with the new release.

Alright not convenient for 2.99

You are force to use picture from the app and cant use ur camera ... App no option at all like focus or lighting or nothing ur picture is bound to be cr... So you wont ever post it !! Cmon people upgrade we been paying for that only cool thing is the tracker n map ( also could be using like trip advisor to show attraction on the way !! ) Or hire me Ill put up something brilliant for you !

Poor

Poor Hard to use. Confusing. When transfer to computer. Lost trip.

Could be better

its actually not bad for recording details of a trip if you like to know every spots you stay. But the UI can be more friendly.

Major flaws = Sucktitude

It seems like a great app, but it has some major flaws. First, you cannot upload a photo you have already taken, such as from your photostream. That is ridiculous. Second, there is no cloud storage at all. This means that (a) one has to manually export data in the proprietary file format, which is not conducive to ease of use while traveling; (b) I had to reset my phone yesterday and lost all my data. Why not have a login system, like most trip apps do? This would also allow users to access and manage their data on their computers and other devices too. The third major flaw Ive noticed so far is the battery drain. I know other users have this problem too. Went to bed at 60%, woke up at 2%. When I shut off the app, this does not happen. So, I dont know why this app is so well-liked. I wish I had not made the purchase.

TJ good but there are issues

First of all - you can import pictures despite comments to the contrary. Go to "more" from within a Place and click on "Library", then import from your camera roll. I do this because using the camera within the app does not seem to record GPS data. Also, I cannot log into the Feedback section despite having signed up with Get Satisfaction, and export to IPad for use in Trip Viewer is at very low resolution despite setting export resolution at full. If the developers read this - Help!

Very frustrating

I simply cant figure how to use this app. It is simply frustrating. Hope to get some assistance from a friend. Disappointing.

Drains battery

Difficult to use. When not near a 3G/4G network it loses its waypoints. Cannot find a way to go in afterwards and add more points. Drains battery within 2 - 3 hours!

If there was a negative number it would get it...

Very frustrating to record past trips... The date/time options on the places screen mostly does not work.

Travel

Not happy. To difficult to put in to app old trips

Cannot export to regular email

Why bother if you cannot send to your own email.

Besides the negative review I liked it

I used this app last in 2012 on my trip to Maui. I enjoyed using it back than, and I dont remember having all the issues that everyone else reports using. For me I didnt use 3G all the time. It would have been extremely expensive to have my phone on the network downloading data all the time. So I relied on the GPS data to record our movements for a lot of it. I found that my waypoints recorded very worked well for where we went and travelled. For the complaints about battery life, well you are running a GPS. Every app warns about continued us of a gps will drain your battery. That should be no surprise that this one will do it too. I would turn the app off when I didnt want to kill my battery. When driving I left it plugged into the charger. When hiking I would turn it on when I wanted to record a waypoint of where we were or if I wanted to record the complete hike. To complain about the app in that regards IMHO is unfair. If you want longer battery life, buy something dedicated from garmin. But for the IPhone it works as all apps would. I like it and plan on using it for my next trip

As advertised

Does exactly what I need it to. In my opinion, the overtly negative reviews are from people who (sorry) dont know how to use it properly. Spend 10 minutes learning the app and it becomes quite handy. Recommended.

Horrible

Frustrating. Nothing works. Pinning on the map is like being blindfolded. Normal buttons like add and delete are nowhere to be found. Feels like grading a middle school comp sci project. Dont bother.

Disappointed

I was expecting more from this application. You can only share your trips by using twitter and some functions are also hard to use. The gps/google map option is good.
